Axel es un hombre que ha dejado su profesión, deambula entre los seres y las cosas; hay en su transitar cierta conciencia de un tiempo final. Un día conoce a una muchacha embarazada, ella está sola. Entre ambos se forma una relación de mutua compañía, algo próximo al amor. La mirada de Alex puede descubrir la llaga que se esconde en los días, lo roto, aquello que no podrá ser. La película acompaña este tiempo, intenta atrapar algo del estado de cosas que nos rodean. Película de palabras y gestos tímidos, de un silencio frágil.

Axel, a man who has abandoned his profession, spends his days between the living and the objects which surround him. There is about him, a certain awareness of life’s futility. One day he meets a young pregnant woman, who is lonely. A relationship between the two develops, one closely resembling love. Axel’s gaze has the power of uncovering the wounds hidden within time, that which is broken, that which will never be. The movie follows this sentiment, trying to grasp an understanding of that which surrounds us. It is a film of words and timid gestures, of fragile silence. After the screening there will be a conversation with the director of the film, Santiago Loza. In Spanish with English subtitles. Free admission.
