Un rinconcito ecuatoriano con clase y estilo en Chicago. Un maravilloso viaje por la cocina y el arte culinario ecuatoriano en un solo lugar, que por cierto tiene un nombre derivado de la lengua “quechua” que hablaban los nativos de los Andes. “La Humita” es un nombre que identifica a un alimento tradicional del Ecuador, que consiste en una pasta de masa de maíz cocido, envuelto y finalmente elaborado en las propias hojas de la mazorca.

Sin ninguna duda, el restaurante típico más representativo de la cultura ecuatoriana en la región.

Especialidad de la casa: las famosas “humitas” y cada platillo engalanado con una deliciosa salsa de naranjilla (fruto tropical conocido en Colombia como lulo), también una especialidad de la casa. Usted degustará los mejores vinos, y si desea, puede subir al Balcón hermosamente decorado con mesas y sillas hechos en tubos de cobre, paredes pintadas con colores coloniales, un bar construido típicamente con paja, teja y carrizo, que dan la impresión de estar en la parte superior de un balcón, observando el amplio horizonte; todo construido por sus dueños y con ideas que salieron de su propia inspiración.
